The man, the myth, the million dollar mullet himself, Midwest singer/songwriter and all around American bad ass BLAKE BANKS is regarded as this generation's most genuine artist. Most recognized for his songs with multi award winning platinum recording artist Post Malone featured on his album Shameless. His music exceeds the expectations of most genres coming straight from the underground independently aiming for the Top40 charts.

Blake has gained fans across the nation touring all over the US with some of music’s top influential artists such as Colt Ford, Ludacris, Mickey Avalon, Moonshine Bandits, The Pharcyde, Struggle Jennings, G-Eazy, Atmosphere, Riff Raff, Rehab, and Ouija Mac just to name a few in recent years. Playing everywhere across America from honky tonks, to saloons, theaters, casinos, festivals, expos, just about any type of music venue or event you could think of, he’s played it. His music has reached international fans world wide so Blake stays passport ready.

Life on the road is nothing new for Banks who grew up migrating with rap groups around the midwest, touring with trending artists throughout his teenage years. By the age of 16 Blake was performing coast to coast nationally and internationally in South Korea and other countries. Blake packed up and left the Midwest in his early 20’s dropping out of collage after pursuing a BA in marketing to follow his passion for music. Realizing early on in his youth that he was all in when it comes to developing his talents.

Born on March 2nd 1990 in Davenport, Iowa, Blake grew up along the banks of the Mississippi River between the QuadCities and Chicago. Growing up listening to artists like Master P, Blake had a desire early on to be a “hip hop backpack rapper” which inspired him to grab the nearest computer and start recording himself. By 2002 at the age of 12 Blake found himself in the studio recording full on songs. When it came time for him to get a job in high school he worked for a local record store where he would shrink wrap his own albums and stick them on the shelf right next to chart topping artists and hot selling albums of the week when he wasn’t selling them at his live shows. In 2011 Blake had made his way out to Los Angeles, California to play his first show and by 2015 he had packed up his car and moved out to the West Coast with damn near the clothes on his back and his laptop. It was then and there that he found himself in the studio working on his Album “Shameless” with Post Malone.

Blake went on to release back to back albums from 2015-2018, including “The Bachelor Vol.1 + Vol.2” and “Field of Dreams”. In 2019 Blake released his single “BLU” and with it he released a game changing music video. That was just the first of many singles to come that would eventually build the bulk of the 2022 Blake Banks hit album titled “Risky Business”. This album holds 17 songs and 13 music videos that uniquely showcases his soulful sound that he has developed over the years in house side by side with his engineer The Ambulance Factory.

The King of Outlaw Music blends Rock, Country, and Blues together in a very Pop/ Hip Hop way, all while simultaneously layering his own homegrown lyrics straight from his soul with a Rap style that pays tribute to his classic ’90s style roots. He’s accumulated hundreds of millions of streams over the years while delivering eyegasming music videos that can be found streaming across YouTube and gaining notoriety with your favorite publications, podcasts, and online blogs such as Lyrical Lemonade. The unsigned independent artist has another album in the works that he will be systematically releasing throughout 2023. There will be no short supply of music or video coverage as he releases BTS tour recap videos, vlogs, and live feeds that will ave deeper into the personal life of Blake Banks. Kicking off the year with a new single and video for his fans titled, “Bad Habits”. If you are a lover of music, Blake is known for leaking his unreleased hits on the road with his female DJ backing him up on vocals. His show is one you don’t want to miss, arguably “better in person” with his heartfelt moments and personal stories he shares between songs. Once he steps on stage you know this ain’t your average rodeo, it’s a Blake Banks party. Everyone in the house is guaranteed to have a good time. Be sure to keep an eye on your calendar as Blake makes his way to a city near you.
